RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) – A West Virginia sex offender wanted for scamming elderly people was arrested in Madison County.
Police in Charleston, W. Va. had been searching for Willis Caudill, 57. Police say that Caudill was accused of attacking an elderly woman as well as scamming other elderly women by pretending to be a Charleston Sanitation worker.
Police say he would scam the women out of money for work he had not completed.
Caudill was captured Wednesday in Richmond and is lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
