(LEX 18) – Officials with Jackson Energy shared images of their workers from Kentucky who remain in Georgia in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.
The crews are working to restore power to the thousands who remain without power.
The workers are living in tent cities and sleeping in shifts as they work round the clock. They wake up before the sun rises and have communal meals before headed back to repair linework.
Everyone owes these heroes a debt of gratitude.
