LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are investigating an incident involving the manager of the Lexington Opera House and a driver.

Operations manager Tom Habermann said that he was outside the building Friday afternoon directing buses line up in the ally next to the building during a performance for schoolchildren.

He said an impatient driver started trying to squeeze through the alley and began arguing with a police officer who was directing traffic.

Habermann said he grabbed onto the car’s hood, trying to get the driver to stop, but the driver sped off.
