LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night inside a car on Hollow Creek Road.
Authorities said a woman reported being shot several times by a man she was giving a ride after they began arguing.
Police say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. and was reported to police around 10 p.m.
Authorities said the woman described the assailant as a black male with a thin build standing about 5-foot-8.
Officials said the woman’s injuries were not life-threatening.
