LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man who was about to be arrested in a drug sting faces many more charges after Lexington police say he lead them on a dangerous chase.
An informant working with Lexington police allegedly arranged to purchase heroin from 20-year-old Maurice Love on Friday night.
Authorities said that when police arrived, Love sped away in his vehicle.
Police say Love crashed, then ran into a construction area where he fell and injured himself.
Love faces several charges, including drug trafficking conspiracy and fleeing police.
