ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man who was arrested in connection to a threat involving Anderson County and Shelby County schools was in court Monday.
Dylan Jarrell is facing charges of harassing communications and second-degree terroristic threatening.
KSP found evidence of a credible and imminent threat to the schools Thursday.
Upon searching Jarrell’s residence, a firearm, over 200 rounds of ammunition, a Kevlar vest, a 100-round high capacity magazine, and a detailed plan of attack were also discovered in his possession.
The judge ruled that Jarrell’s bond will remain at $50,000, however, due to the seriousness of his charges, he will be kept in jail.
Jarrell has limited to no criminal history.
He requested a public defender.
Jarrell’s next court date is 10:30 a.m. Nov. 1.
