MT STERLING, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Montgomery County Animal Shelter is urgently pleading for people to come adopt animals as they sit at 110% capacity and stand ready to euthanize.
The shelter says they will set a euthanasia date at the end of the day Monday by 3:30.
Business hours are:
Monday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Tuesday 7:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm
Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm.
Adoption fees for dogs are $68. There is a short application that must be filled out at the time of adoption at the shelter. There are low-cost options for spaying and neutering.
