LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police have arrested a teen who they say shot someone inside of a fast food restaurant over the weekend.
It happened at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the KFC on Boardwalk.
Police say 18-year-old Lawrence Westbrook fired about eight shots toward the back of the restaurant where employees were standing.
A woman was shot in the ankle, and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An arrest citation says Westbrook is in a relationship with one of the employees.
He is charged with wanton endangerment and assault.
