DANVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Danville police arrested a registered sex offender Tuesday after they said he violated restrictions against being near a playground.
Authorities said 44-year-old Jamie Lee Palmer was arrested following complaints that he was visiting a public playground while playing a mobile game.
Police said they investigated the complaints and obtained a warrant for Palmer’s arrest. He was taken into custody at his home.
Palmer was being held in the Boyle County Detention Center.
