PARIS, Ky. (LEX 18) – Police are investigating after a body was found lying in the street in Paris.
Paris police tell LEX 18 that they received a call around 7:20 a.m. Sunday. A passerby saw the person lying in the middle of 8th Street and attempted to call for help, but the victim was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Police are waiting to find out if the man died of something else or was struck by a car, but they said he had been seen walking in that area in the early morning hours.
The name of the man, in his 50s, has not yet been released. His body was sent for an autopsy.
