MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Firefighters in Menifee County spent several hours on the scene of an apartment fire Tuesday evening.
Dispatchers said that it happened a little after six at the Beaver Creek Apartments in Frenchburg. Firefighters tell LEX 18 that the fire was contained to one apartment and no one was home at the time.
A chihuahua was killed in the fire.
No word on what may have caused the fire.
