MT. STERLING, Ky. (Mt. Sterling Advocate) —  A man accused of kidnapping, raping and sodomizing a woman in 2016 now is facing a second charge of intimidating a witness.

The Mt. Sterling Advocate reports that Ronald Glynn Triplett wrote a harassing and intimidating message on the wall of the Montgomery County Jail to a victim in a pending case against him. The victim was in jail at the time.

The paper reports that Triplett also wrote a similar message on the wall of the recreation yard back in September.

Triplett is charged with the 2016 rape and kidnapping of a woman he found walking downtown in Mt. Sterling. He reportedly took her to a building on East Main Street where she was repeatedly raped.

Triplett was charged with a similar case in Michigan.
