ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (The Anderson News) The Taco Bell located at 1008 Bypass South in Lawrenceburg will temporarily close Wednesday after an employee tested positive for hepatitis A, The Anderson News reports.

Anderson County’s Director of Public Health Tim Wright said he has spoken with the restaurant’s regional manager. They told him that the store will be closed Wednesday and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

The risk of becoming infected by eating at the restaurant is “very low” Wright says. He also tells the Anderson News that the store is working closely with the health department.

The CDC recommends hand washing with soap and water, along with vaccination to prevent the spread of hepatitis A.
