LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– An abandoned home was heavily damaged by a fire Wednesday morning and investigators are trying to determine a cause.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. on Tiverton Way.
When crews arrived on the scene, they say there was fire and smoke coming from the two story house.
They were able to knock the fire down fairly quickly, which means the home is not a total loss.
There is, however, heavy fire and smoke damage to the living room, kitchen, and hallway.
