LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Fayette County Sheriff will host a vigil Thursday for domestic violence survivors and their stories.
The second annual vigil’s theme is “Shine The Light,” which will focus on responses to domestic violence.
Survivors will share their stories, and both victims and their families are encouraged to attend.
There will be information and resources available, as well as activities for children, and refreshments.
The night will end with the lighting of the candles.
The vigil begins at 5:30 p.m. in front of the district courthouse.
