NICHOLAS COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A candidate for the 6th Congressional District was arrested at a candidates forum.

It happened Thursday night in Carlisle.

The moderator of the event tells LEX 18 James Germalic, who is from Ohio, was escorted from the event after a dispute when organizers would not let him show a graphic sign about abortion.

Germalic is in the Bourbon County Detention Center. He is charged with disorderly conduct.
