CALDWELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Mississippi hunter who was in Kentucky on a hunting trip died when his tree stand collapsed.
The incident occurred earlier this week in Caldwell County.
Fish and Wildlife officials say 43-year-old Shane Robinson was in the stand when it malfunctioned, and he fell to his death.
The officials were urging hunters to check their straps and wear a climbing harness when using tree stands.
