FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Frankfort said Sunday morning they might move up the city’s Halloween trick-or-treating by a day to avoid forecasting rain.
In a post on its Facebook page, officials said they planned to make a formal announcement of a decision at 10 a.m. Monday.
Currently, trick-or-treating is scheduled to take place on Halloween, which is Wednesday Oct. 31.
Frankfort Police Department said because heavy rain is forecast from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday, they are considering moving the festivities to Tuesday, Oct. 30.
