LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Lexington mother is facing charges for allegedly abusing her children and forcing them to smoke marijuana.
29-year-old Andrea Baumeister was arrested Tuesday.
According to her arrest citation, Baumeister’s children told police that she touched them inappropriately.
The citation also states Baumeister told one of her children quote “that’s how mommies take care of kids.”
Baumeister is also accused of forcing the children to smoke marijuana
She’s currently in the Fayette County Detention Center and is expected to be in court Wednesday.
