MOREHEAD, Ky. (LEX 18) – Morehead Police confirm that they received information about an active shooter at Saint Clare Medical Center that turned out to be false.
Upon investigation, they say the situation was nothing but “rumors and panic.” The hospital was evacuated as a precaution, but no one is in custody and no shots were fired.
Police say they are looking into how the rumor started.
