MADISONVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man is numerous facing numerous charges after he allegedly communicated online with a juvenile in order to obtain sexual images and meet up for sexual acts.
41-year-old Ronald W. Rice Jr. was arrested around 6:38 p.m. Thursday by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Madisonville.
Rice is currently charged with five counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 18 years old, one count of unlawful transaction with a minor- illegal sex act under 18 years old, five counts of possession/view matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, five counts of prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor, and one count of carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
He was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
