GEORGETOWN, KY. (LEX 18) – A Georgetown firefighter, who is fighting a degenerative lung condition, is in critical condition.
The Scott Sheriff’s Office released a post on Facebook that firefighter, Johnnie Jacobs’ family, has advised he is in critical condition and asking for prayers.
Johnnie Jacobs has been fighting the lung condition and awaiting his spot at the top of the lung donor list.
Jacobs worked for the Georgetown Fire Department for more than two decades, working his way to the rank of Battalion Chief.
