A man was killed in a wreck in Martin County this evening. It happened on KY Route 645 in Inez.
State Police say a pickup driven by Michael Ferrell was traveling southbound when he lost control and veered off the shoulder of the road. Ferrell turned sharply to try to regain control but overcorrected. The truck left the road and hit an embankment, ejecting Ferrell.
He was taken to Highlands Regional Hospital where he was pronounced.
Police say alcohol or drugs are not suspected.
