Hart Co. Man Arrested After Allegedly Firing Gun After Dispute With KU Employee

HART COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – A Hart County man is behind bars after deputies say he discharged a weapon when a Kentucky Utilities employee disconnected his electricity.

According to officials, Aaron Murphy, age 34, was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment.

The arrest is the result of a complaint on Nov. 2, in which Murphy allegedly fired his gun at or near a KU employee following his power being cut off.

Murphy was located and identified on a traffic stop in the Linwood area and was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
