LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Voter turnout is turned up in this election and that can mean longer than usual waits. If you’re hungry, one website has a solution.
A nonprofit group called “Pizza to the Polls” is delivering hundreds of pizzas to voters stuck in long lines waiting to vote. The website accepts donations and will dispatch sustenance to those waiting to exercise their constitutional right.
Voters can go to the website and submit photos of long lines. Pizza to the Polls will then send free food and feed everyone in line.
