Two Facing Charges After Shots Fired Into Stamping Ground Home

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report on Woodlake Road where a victim was injured after someone fired shots into the home, striking the person multiple times.

Deputies say the victim was lying in bed when the shots were fired.

The victim’s injuries are described as non-life threatening. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office said that five people were at the home at the time of the shooting.

The sheriff’s office said that a vehicle description was given and deputies found and stopped the vehicle in the area of Fincastle and Ferguson Lanes.

Two passengers were detained at the scene while one of the suspects fled on foot. While the two people were being interviewed, the third individual turned himself in at the sheriff’s office.

Deondre Montreal Jackson and Tansun Mikyael Savon Fisher, both 18, were charged in the crime. Jackson is charged with one count of criminal facilitation to assault and five counts of facilitation to wanton endangerment. Fisher is charged with one count of assault, five counts of wanton endangerment, one count of fleeing and evading police.

The sheriff’s office said that both subjects knew the residents in the home and this crime is not random.
