MARION COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down in Marion County.
The NWS reports the tornado touched down just before noon Monday, about four miles southwest of Lebanon on Highway 289.
The NWS reports the “very small” tornado touched down on top of an old wooden barn and flattened the structure before lifting over a home and nearby trees and landing in a subdivision.
We’re told several trees were snapped, but no buildings were damaged.
