LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The man accused of entering a cafe on Transylvania University’s campus in April wielding a machete has plead guilty to numerous charges.
Mitchell Adkins entered a guilty plea on Nov. 2 to ten counts, including one count of second-degree assault, one count of fourth-degree assault, four counts of terroristic threatening, one count of resisting arrest, and three counts of menacing.
He is expected to face 7.5 years in prison for his crimes.
Formal sentencing is set for 1 p.m. Dec. 4.
