LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been charged with kidnapping after a woman reported a disturbing attack.
Police say 29-year-old Raymond Stansell tore a lock from a car door to keep the victim from leaving on Friday.
He also allegedly restrained the woman, shoving a stuffed animal into her mouth, and holding his hand around her throat.
Stansell was also charged with an unrelated Sept. 7 car theft that happened behind the JIF plant on Winchester Road.
