LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Due to low temperatures and falling snow, the city’s homelessness weather plan is in effect until Friday, Nov. 16.

This will expand access to shelters and provide expanded shelter capacity for those out in the elements.

If you want to report someone who may need a ride to a shelter, call the HopeMobile van at (859) 252-7881. Referrals are accepted Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents may also call the Compassionate Caravan at (859) 913-0038 during activation periods and leave a message. (Note: Messages will not be returned to this number.) If you wish to speak with someone with the Compassionate Caravan, call (859) 255-0301.
