LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– An event at Rupp Arena on Tuesday will give participants the chance to hoop it up while benefiting the local Hope Center.
Johnny Carino’s “Hoops for Hope” supports those battling addiction, metal illness, and homelessness.
Teams of four shooters from corporations and community organizations compete against each other in a five-minute shootoff.
Each team has the chance to win two competitions: one for the most points scored, and another for the team that raises the most funds for the Hope Center.
The event starts at 4:30 p.m.
