LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Lexington police now say that the pedestrian struck by a vehicle this morning has died.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. on Versailles Road between Halls Lane and Delmont Drive. Juan Garcia, 47, was struck by a vehicle while he attempted to cross the roadway.
Police say Garcia was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident. The injuries were initially reported to be minor.
According to the Lexington real-time traffic ticker, a pedestrian was reportedly involved in this accident.
