LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are searching for two people who reportedly robbed a man and his mother at their home.
It happened just before noon Thursday on Withers Avenue.
The owner told police he answered the door and two young men demanded to use owner’s phone that he was holding. When he said no, the armed pair pushed their way inside. The man said he and his mother were pushed into the bathroom.
They the two men allegedly demanded drugs and money. They stole two guns before they ran off.
The victims told police they did not know the suspects.
