KBC To Disassociate With Churches Hiring LGBTQ Employees

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– The Kentucky Baptist Convention has voted to disassociate with churches that support the hiring of LGBTQ employees.

The convention, which is based in Louisville, says it is following with the teachings of the Bible.

Critics say the convention should adapt with the times.

The KBC oversees more than 2,000 churches across Kentucky.
