LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)- An AT&T outage is causing a headache for customers locally and Lexington police want users to know about the difficulties.
In a post on their Facebook page, police say AT&T users should know that the difficulties might cause problems in trying to reach 911.
“AT&T is currently experiencing an outage in its ability to deliver wireless 911 calls. If you are an AT&T subscriber please understand that this issue is beyond the control of Enhanced 911. We will inform you as soon as we get an update. Thank you!”
Downdetector.com shows a large outage in Central Kentucky.
