LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– There was a big scare for people in a Lexington home overnight, after a tree fell onto the roof.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Broadway.
Fire officials say the tree took out part of the roof and one of the branches went through a wall in the upstairs area.
We’re told people were inside at the time, but no one was hurt.
Officials say the two-story house itself will be fine and they put a temporary patch on the hole.
No word on if this was weather related.
