HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WFIE) — The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after being notified of a photo showing a dead horse that circulated on social media.
WFIE reports that the horse was dead along Green River Road in Henderson County.
Sheriff’s Deputy Dakota Engle tells the station the department was called to the area early Saturday.
Few details were released but police said they were treating it as an isolated incident.
