SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are searching for the suspect in a late night chase in Georgetown.
It started around 11:30 p.m. Sunday on Cherry Blossom Way.
Dispatch says the suspect drove on I-75 southbound and got on I-64 west.
The chase ended on Paris Pike when the vehicle’s engine blew.
The driver got out and ran from the Chevy pickup truck, however the passenger was detained on scene, but was not arrested.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
