HARRISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)- Search and rescue crews spent the day looking for a man who has been missing for almost a week.

According to Harrison County Search and Rescue’s Facebook page, 39-year-old Kelly Hudgins was last seen Nov. 13 in Cynthiana. He was reportedly walking down Waterworks Avenue and was last seen around the Terry Dam area near the guardrail.

Officials say he is 5’9″, weighs 140 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, dark brown boots and may have had on a camo jacket and baseball hat.

Search crews searched the South Fork Licking River on Monday. Cadaver dogs hit on the same exact spot of the river but boaters didn’t find anything.  Surrounding agencies even supplied SONAR to help, but they called the search for the day.

Harrison County Search and Rescue Chief Rejeana Craft says they will return Tuesday and they will continue to hold out hope.

“Right now we’re just hoping that this is not him and we can go on with our search throughout the community and see if we can find him,” said Chief Craft.
