LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC)– The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that strip patching work is scheduled for various routes in Jessamine County. Strip patching is a mobile operation.
Wednesday, November 21 – 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
o work will begin with Catnip Hill Road/KY 3375 and progress to the remainder of the routes
o strip patching is a mobile operation — lane and/or shoulder closures may be in place during the operations
o flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic
Below are the areas scheduled for strip patching operations:
- Catnip Hill Road/KY 3375
o milepoint 1.11 to 1.38
o milepoint 1.71 to 1.93
o milepoint 2.09 to 2.51
- North 3rd Street/KY 169
o milepoint 10.81 to 10.83
- Ashgrove Pike/KY 1981
o milepoint 1.08 to 1.60
o milepoint 4.10 to 5.00
Significant delays are anticipated during the hours of work.
Motorists should try to utilize an alternate route.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
