Second Suspect Arrested In Violent Robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police have arrested the second woman suspected in a violent robbery that left the victim with several injuries.

Police responded to the Valero gas station on Augusta Drive at about 7 p.m. Nov. 1.

The victim told police she was assaulted in front of the business by two women.

She told police Katelyn Berryman hit her with her hands and feet, and that Lindsey Blair hit her with a baseball bat.

The two suspects then allegedly stole the victim’s bag of merchandise from the store.

The victim says she knows the two suspects.

She suffered a fractured nose, orbital bone, and forearm from the alleged attack

Bberryman was arrested earlier this month and police arrested Blair on Monday.

Both are charged with first-degree robbery.
