Teens Reportedly Shot At Kids, Apartment Buildings With Airsoft Guns

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Two teens have been arrested after they allegedly shot at children with air rifles.

It happened the afternoon of July 13 on Cross Keys Road.

According to an arrest citation, 18-year-old David Hawkins and 19-year-old Day’Quise Canada reportedly used airsoft guns to shoot at children and damage buildings at Parkside Apartments.

The manager of the complex reviewed surveillance footage and was able to identify the suspects. She confirmed they were the ones responsible for firing the guns and damaging the complex.

Both are charged with one count of second-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree criminal mischief.
