HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Hardin County man is sentenced to three decades behind bars for allegedly killing another man last year.

In a plea deal, Austen Green admitted to causing the death of Anthony Gullotto.

His body was found last December behind a mall in Elizabethtown.

Green told police he shot Gullotto four times after Gullotto allegedly tried to rob someone.

Police say Green left the scene, threw the gun on the side of the road, and then went back to pick up the shell casings and make sure Gullotto was dead.

Gullotto’s death was Elizabethtown’s first murder in 2017.
