NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man was sent to the hospital after a crash in Jessamine County.
It happened Thursday night just before 10 p.m. at US 27 at Wichita Drive in Nicholasville.
Police say a car was turning left onto US 27 when an SUV ran a red light and the two vehicles collided.
Officials say the man in the car appears to have life-threatening injuries.
Police tell us it’s relatively uncommon for them to handle a major crash on Thanksgiving.
