LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is in the hospital this Thanksgiving after a shooting Wednesday night.
Witnesses say they heard five or six gunshots on Carlisle Avenue before police arrived around 10:30 p.m.
Police say a man was walking down the road when he was approached by a vehicle and shot.
The victim was taken to UK Hospital. We’re told his injuries are life threatening.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
