MASON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A city council member in Northern Kentucky faces sex charges.
According to the Ledger Independent, 43-year-old Clarence Jefferson was arrested at his home on Johnson Street in Dover on Monday.
Police charged Jefferson with first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse, involving a child under 12.
The local sheriff says there are potentially more victims, and Jefferson could face more charges.
