LILY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Fire and rescue crews responded early Sunday morning to two apparently vacant mobile homes on fire.

According to a post on the Facebook page for Lily Fire & Rescue, crews responded just after 1:30 a.m. to a fire in the 100 block of Grace Loop.

Authorities said two single-wide mobile homes that had been combined through a connecting structure were fully engulfed. Neighbors told officials that the homes had not been occupied in about a year.

A Kentucky Utilities crew had to be called in to secure a downed live power line.

Firefighters then were able to douse the flames.

No injuries were reported.
