LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police have arrested a suspect accused of shooting a victim during an armed robbery.
Police arrested Alexander Hilliard just before 11:30 a.m. Monday.
They say that on Nov. 12, he threatened violence against a victim while trying to rob them and shot the victim with a handgun, causing serious injury.
Police say the victim later picked the suspect out of a lineup during their investigation.
Hilliard faces robbery and assault charges.
