BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is recovering after being shot during an alleged domestic situation in Boyd County.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in the Rush area along Bolts Fork.
Deputies say the man was shot in the stomach with a handgun.
We’re told his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
He was taken to a local hospital.
Authorities are still looking for the suspect, who is considered to be armed and dangerous.
They say there was also a woman in the house at the time of the shooting.
