(LEX 18)– Dispatchers in Rockcastle County say that a police chase started in Madison County and then went into their county before finally coming to an end after going back into Madison County.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said that a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle on US 25 after running the plate and learning it was stolen. The chase went south on US 25 into Rockcastle County. Eventually, the driver got onto I-75 north and went into Madison County.
KSP joined the pursuit around the 83 milemarker.
Police finally stopped that driver around mile marker 92 near Richmond.
The driver and the passenger were both taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
